Briquetting Press: Manufacturing briquettes with binder less technology

Biomass Briquetting press is generally used to process wood, agricultural or forestry waste. The main functionality of the Charcoal fuel machine is to ensure binder less briquette production. It binds the raw material (agricultural, wood, or forestry waste) itself by high pressure. The acceptable moisture in any of the raw materials is 8-13 %.

Biomass briquetting press machine manufacturer by JK Bioenergy makes the efficient use of a homogenous pulp to grind the waste and to make environment friendly briquettes. These briquettes are an alternative to non-renewable fossil fuels that are limited.

Types of Briquette Press

  • Mechanical
Mechanical press manufactured by our company is mainly used for large scale installations ranging from 200Kg/hr up to 1800 Kg/hr. One and more mechanical presses can be combined to produce thousand tonnes of briquettes per hour. The press is designed as an eccentric press with a continuously rotating eccentric shaft attached to a plunger that presses the raw material through a conic die.
  • Screw
Screw press of JK Bioenergy can generate biomass briquettes with very high compaction. In this, the material is passed to the briquette forming head by a rotating screw shaft operated by an electric motor. This screw shaft is the main part of biomass briquetting press. Because of the shaft, there is a hole left of centre of biomass briquette column. Screw presses have the capacity from 75 to 250 Kg/hr.
  • Hydraulic
Hydraulic Presses are further divided into two groups. One is complete briquetting system with capacities ranging from 50 Kg/hr to 200 Kg/hr. Such systems usually generate round briquettes. In addition, there are professional systems with a capacity of 400 Kg/hr to 1500 Kg/hr that produces rectangular briquettes generally.
